my flight leaves at four
bags are packed
medicine + id card in hand
when i get there and check into the
future i must not forget that i am new
here
and remember to lock the door/s of the past
[but keep the keys in case of emergency]
the people and the places will be
familiar in a new way
tomorrow is my home
