Eligibility: The ideal applicant has: A love of theatre, and a passion for engaging youth in the arts Ability to work both independently and collaboratively The ability to develop live theatre pieces from beginning to end Strong leadership and organizational skills Knowledge of how to work with a variety of ages and abilities Musical theatre experience encouraged Reliable transportation encouraged Directors are desired to work outside throughout the summer, though not necessary.
Stone Soup Theatre has been providing Youth Theatre Education for 29 years in the Wallingford neighborhood. Our productions offer suggestive costumes and props, allowing the students to be the true stars of our shows! During the summer months, we offer week-long theatre camps to the youth of Seattle, aged 5-17. We are seeking Directors to lead one or many shows this upcoming 2025 season. Help bring the magic of theatre to one of two Seattle-area parks: Meridian Playfield in Wallingford or Jefferson Park on Beacon Hill. Visit our website for more details and to apply!
