Work with youth ages 8-17 twice a week to develop skills and produce an end of the quarter performance. At Stone Soup Theatre, we focus on creating a space where young actors can explore, play, and discover the joy of storytelling. Our educational programs give students the tools they need to build confidence, find their voice, and connect with their creativity on stage. Every production is all about the actors—our students are the heart of the show. We use simple costumes, sets, and props to spark imagination and let the story come alive through their eyes and ideas. It’s about having fun, being creative, and sharing stories together. Your duties will include:
Organizing auditions and call backs, prop retrieval, and communication with casts
Assisting Director in the creation of live theatre pieces.
Supervising, guiding and encouraging young performers, ages 8 – 14.
Organizing materials including (but not limited to) scripts, PPE, attendance sheets and first aid.
Coordinating props, costumes, and set pieces.
Ability to take over the show once it is open.
