Eligibility: Minimum of 5 years experience in nonprofit fundraising, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and meet deadlines. • Basic knowledge of donor databases (KPC uses Salesforce), communications software (KPC uses MailChimp), and all social media platforms.
KPC is looking for a Development Director to lead fundraising initiatives as we enter the final stages of our capital campaign and Elevate KPC to new heights. This is an incredible opportunity to shape our fundraising strategy, drive meaningful change, and play a key role in powering KPC’s future.
This is a leadership role where you’ll oversee all aspects of KPC’s fundraising programs—including completing the Elevate KPC capital campaign, securing operating funds, securing sponsorships, and managing grant funding and reporting. This role will primarily focus on donor engagement, major gifts/sponsorship, overseeing the contract grant writer, and fundraising/cultivation events management. A key feature of this role is that the position does not involve hands-on data entry or database management; a dedicated staff member manages those tasks.
The Development Director will be expected to focus on building relationships and strategic fundraising
initiatives by overseeing the backend data systems.
