Adam Jabari
Resonance
Resonance is a visual meditation on the connectivity of future, past, and present.
Embodying the reaching, pulling, and learning that occurs as life progresses forward, this multi-channel presentation creates an introspective ambiance by combining text, movement, and original sound design by Jennifer Moore. Resonance first screened at Sabayet, a participatory art event held at the Neptune Theater in 2019, produced by Adam Jabari. A single-channel version of Resonance has since been showcased at the 2021 Seattle Black Film Festival, the 2021 Cadence Video Poetry Festival, and broadcast on KCTS television. This work was produced with support from Artist Trust.
