Join Poet Planner Laura Da’ at the Mount Si Trailhead and pick up the Path Becomes Poem booklet of poetry prompts to guide your hike up Mount Si or walk along the short ADA-accessible trail at the trailhead.

Stop by anytime between 10:30am and 12:30pm to meet Laura Da’ and the Poetry in Public team, pick up a booklet at the trailhead, and connect with other poets who love the outdoors.

Can't make the event date or don't have a car? Trailhead Direct is running routes to the nearby Mount Teneriffe trailhead weekends and holidays May 25 – September 15 in 2024. Pick up a booklet at the 4Culture office or print a one-page version at home and head up to the trails with your poetry inspiration anytime.

Directions to the trailhead: From Seattle, drive I-90 to exit 32. Turn left onto 436th Ave SE. Follow 436th to its end at SE North Bend Way. Turn left. In three-tenths of a mile, turn right onto SE Mt. Si Road. Follow it 2.4 miles. Entrance to the trailhead will be on the left. A Discover Pass is required at trailhead (and don’t assume no one will check – the lot is patrolled regularly).
