Gallery4Culture 2006-2007 Season
Eric Eley: Landing January 4 - 26, 2007
reception JANUARY 4, 2006, 6 – 8 p.m.
Gallery4Culture is pleased to present new sculpture by Seattle artist Eric Eley.
This exhibition will feature large resin drawings, works on paper, and sculpture. The pieces employ the visual language of physics and cartography to explore how space is defined and understood. Rather than describing what is known, the analytical marks are used to create expansive imagery and sculptures. Playing with the subjectivity of perspective and scale, the works hover between object, landscape and architecture.
A reception will be held on January 4, 2006, the first Thursday of the month, during the Downtown Artwalk, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend. The exhibition will run from January 4 – 26, 2007.
